GEICO Honda's Justin Barcia throws his name into mix for the first ever Monster Energy Cup. It's a combo supercross / motocross race that will be held on October 15 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. And oh yeah, there is a potential 1,000,000 dollars on the line!

Sophomore Supercross Lites class rider GEICO Honda's Justin Barcia, of Ochlocknee, Ga, established he was going to be a front runner for the 2011 supercross season early by winning the opening race of the East Regional Supercross Lites class. Barcia earned two additional victories and six podium finishes en route to becoming the class champion. The young Honda rider has five career Supercross Lites class wins and nine podium finishes.
